Sister Cities Association of Springfield, IL (SCAS) Presidents attend the 19th Gettysburg Address Ceremony in Representative Hall of the Old State Capitol on November 19, 2025 with Springfield Mayor Misty Buscher (3d from left on upper platform) and Consul-General of Japan at Chicago Masahi Mizobuchi (far right on upper platform) to support three Ashikaga female contest winners.

It was a lovely ceremony and marked the return of the Ashikaga Gettysburg Address Ceremony to the reopened Old State Capitol after major renovation work.
